The Articles

And of all the different people, peopling this earth,

Each and everyone, has his or her own unique worth.

Kelly Curiel.

This section of the website contains a collection of articles which helps celebrate the people who gave ‘life’ to the name ‘De Fonseka’. These are the stories of their times, their triumphs and their failures, of the great memories they created, the unwritten history of the family, collected and documented, before they disappear forever.

These articles are based on personal recollections, old newspaper articles and other publication, verified and supported by documentary evidence where available. Sadly many of the people interviewed for these articles are no longer with us. However their memories linger on, thanks to the initiatives taken to document their colorful lives.

The information in this section is organized under four sections.
