Paul Goonewardene (b. circa 1870)m Administrative Officer married Kalutaravedage Lydia de Fonseka of Panadura in the 1890s. They lived at the 32 roomed home “Burlington” in Kalutara North. It is currently occupied by the Co-operative Rural Banks Federation.
Arnold Paul and Lydia had 9 sons and 2 daughters. They were:
